XFD594由AAT生产,它与Alexa Fluor® 594(Alexa Fluor®是ThermoFisher的商标)具有相同的化学结构。小麦胚芽凝集素(WGA)是一种凝集素,与N-乙酰-D-葡糖胺和硅酸结合。由于WGA与糖类结合,其衍生物和共轭物被广泛用于标记细胞膜和纤维化的疤痕组织,用于荧光成像和分析。WGA的XFD594共轭物等同于WGA的Alexa Fluor® 594共轭物。它表现出明亮的红色荧光。XFD594 WGA共轭物能与唾液酸和N-乙酰葡糖胺基残基结合。
