  • caspases是一个半胱氨酸蛋白酶家族,在某些天冬氨酸残基后裂解,主要被认为是凋亡的媒介。 caspases合成为无活性的酶原,在压力或死亡受体诱导凋亡后可裂解形成活性酶。启动型caspase(如caspase-8和-10)通过酶原在专用适配蛋白上的二聚化被激活。这些被激活的启动型caspase反过来以级联方式裂解下游效应型或执行型caspase(如caspase-3、-6和-7),它们裂解关键的细胞蛋白,导致与凋亡细胞死亡相关的形态学变化。

    Applications

    Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

    Recommended Dilution

    Western Blot: 1:1000, ECL Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

    Storage and Stability

    May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

    Immunogen

    Recombinant protein corresponding to human Caspase-3.

    Form

    Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.

    Purity

    Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

    Specificity

    Recognizes human Caspase-3. Species Crossreactivity: mouse, rat, bovine, chicken, canine, guinea pig, hamster, monkey, porcine, rabbit and yeast.
