我们的肌酐（血清）比色测定法可用于测量血浆和血清中的肌酐水平。该测定法基于贾费反应（Jaffe’ reaction），即当代谢物与碱性苦味酸盐反应时，会形成黄/橙色。颜色形成的速率与样品中肌酐的浓度成正比，可在490-500纳米的吸光度下进行测量。该测定法的动力学特性可消除来自外来血清污染物（如脂质和胆红素）的干扰。1，2
