Plasmocin® 是一种广谱支原体及相关无细胞壁细菌去除试剂。它对所有常见的胞外和胞内支原体菌株均有效。
为达到最高效率，Plasmocin® 包含两种抗生素的配方：第一种阻断蛋白质合成，第二种终止DNA 复制。这两种成分中的一种会被主动转运至哺乳动物细胞内，确保处理后细胞培养物不会再次感染。因此，Plasmocin® 在根除支原体和预防耐药菌株产生方面比市面上其他试剂更有效[1]。许多被支原体感染的细胞系已成功用 Plasmocin® 治愈[2]，包括原代癌细胞系[3]、产病毒细胞[4]和诱导多能干细胞[5]，且未引发任何永久性改变。

- Plasmocin® Prophylactic (2.5 mg/ml): to prevent mycoplasma contamination, use at 2.5 - 5 µg/ml on a regular basis.
- Plasmocin® Treatment (25 mg/ml): to eliminate mycoplasmas, use at 25 µg/ml for 2 weeks.
